Your phone reads it — and forgets it
Text recognition runs on your device. Your name, address and card digits get blurred before anything is sent. The image itself stays with you.
We compare like with like
Same store, same item, same fifteen minutes. Location, timing and delivery distance get controlled for, so what's left is the part that shouldn't be there.
What never leaves your phone 🔒
A screenshot of a food order contains your name, your address, your phone number and the last four of your card. We want none of it, so we built the app to never receive it.

This is becoming illegal ⚖️
On October 1, 2026, Maryland's Protection From Predatory Pricing Act takes effect — the first state law barring large food retailers and delivery providers from setting a price for you based on your personal data. More states are moving.
Laws need evidence. Right now almost nobody is measuring this at the level a regulator can act on. That's the gap cup.pm is built to fill.
